In his welcoming address on behalf of the Governor of St. Petersburg Vladimir Kirillov congratulated the first owners of passports of fans on the remarkable event. The Deputy Governor expressed confidence that the ID FAN will appreciate the Russian and foreign guests of the competition. "The introduction of the identification system of fans, which is part of the ID Fan will help greatly to eliminate security threats because of potentially dangerous fans will be identified at the stage of buying tickets," said Vladimir Kirillov.
Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg also added that the presence of the passport of fan will not only provide its holders unrestricted access to the stadium, but will allow foreign guests of the Confederations Cup to have visa-free entry to Russia. The owners of Fan ID will also be free to travel by public transport between cities-participants of the competitions that will be another incentive to attend their matches and to get acquainted with the unique attractions of St. Petersburg and Russia.
Vladimir Kirillov has expressed confidence that the Government of St. Petersburg will provide all the necessary conditions for a comfortable, secure and comfortable stay for fans of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup in our hospitable city.

For obtaining a Passport of a fan of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 after buying tickets should:
To apply for a spectator pass on the website www.fan-id.ru and waiting for notifications about your order status, to a spectator in any of the Centers issuing it.
To apply for a Passport fan in any distribution Centre.
For registration of the application in the Center should have the original of identity document (birth certificate for children under 14 years of age), the form with the order number of the ticket or a ticket for one of the matches of the Confederations Cup.
Each fan would only need one ID for all matches for which tickets purchased.
