The event will be attended by representatives of the Government of St. Petersburg, as well as the Legend of FIFA Gilberto Silva.
In total, the Official World Cup Trophy will stay in the Northern capital for 8 days.
From May 29 to June 2, the Trophy will be exhibited in the Primorsky Victory Park in a special tent, where anyone can see it with their own eyes and make a commemorative photo. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in the entertainment program and feel the festive atmosphere of the expectation of the largest football event in the world.
The participants and guests of the football unified-match, which will be played on May 28 in the sports complex "Nova Arena" will be the first who will be able to see the Trophy.
The match will be held within the framework of the all-Russian inclusive campaign in the run-up to the FIFA World Cup. The goal of the campaign is to attract maximum attention to the problem of social isolation of people with special needs and the importance of forming an inclusive society in Russia. Among the participants of the match there will be athletes of the Special Olympics, professional football players and the representatives of the governmental structures.
St. Petersburg will be the last stop on the route of the Trophy Tour in 2018 after Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov-on-Don. After leaving St. Petersburg, the legendary Trophy will go to Moscow, where his journey will end.
