One of the guests of the Park and the city itself will be the Legend of FIFA, the ex-striker of Argentina, the participant of the FIFA World Championships 1998, 2002 and 2006 Hernan Crespo. He will come to St. Petersburg not by accident: on June 26 in the group D match in the city on the Neva, Argentina will play against the Nigerians.
Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Volgograd, Saransk, Samara, Ekaterinburg, Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod have already hosted the Football Park. So, the former striker of the Portuguese national team Nuno Gomes visited Sochi, the guest of the Football Park in Rostov-on-Don was the former striker of Iceland's team Eidur Gudjohnsen, Volgograd was visited by ex-defender of England, Sol Campbell. In Saransk there appeared the former goalkeeper of the national team of Denmark Peter Schmeichel, in Samara – the ex-defender of Colombia Ivan Cordoba, and in Yekaterinburg – the World Champion FIFA 1998 (as part of the French national team) Marcel Desailly. The guest of the Park in Kazan was the ex-midfielder of the Spanish national team Michel Salgado, in Nizhny Novgorod – the ex-goalkeeper of the Croatian national team Stipe Pletikosa.
A bright and diverse program awaits the visitors of the Park: master classes and autograph sessions, outdoor football games, amusement rides and multimedia quizzes with the opportunity to win memorable prizes and tickets to the World Cup.
Guests of the Park will be able to meet and take pictures with the charming wolf Zabivaka ™, the official mascot of the World Cup. Everyone will have the opportunity to specify the schedule of matches in any city-organizer and tournament in general, as well as learn how to get to the Festival of FIFA fans and buy tickets for matches on the site FIFA.com/bilet.
Entrance to the football park and entertainment in it will be free of charge.
The park is open on 19 and 20 May from 12:00 to 20:00.
